Individual
Therapy
Individual therapy is a type of one-on-one therapy between consumer and client. Therapy goals are collaborative and the individual is the guiding force in the progression of meeting the goals. Individual therapy grounds itself in the notion of the consumer and clinician having equal but opposite expertise and together having the effectiveness necessary to allow the consume to reach their outlined goals. Individual therapy sessions utilize a variation of therapeutic approaches to include Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Milieu Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy etc.
